GPUG General Manager Bob McAdam kicks off the conference and Webmaster, Katie Froeber, will demo all the great features on the GPUG website. This will be followed by the keynote speaker, Wessel Pieterse, Senior Manager for the Apps & Infra business at Microsoft.
Always at the forefront of technology, Wessel now works with the team in Microsoft that plans to deliver the Microsoft Cloud, including Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics 365, from hyperscale data centres located in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with initial availability in 2018. Wessel is highly passionate and successful IT Sales Champion, Business Manager and Digital Transformer who’s served the last 20 years at Tier 1 multinational vendors in the IT industry, with the last 10 years abroad covering a diverse region including Russia, Middle East and Africa.
